Send your students around your classroom on a scavenger hunt while solving 20 different equations. The equations consist of 5 problems for each operation and include positive whole numbers.
Hang the 20 cards randomly around your room. Each card has an answer on top and a new problem on bottom. Ideally students would work in pairs and pairs can start at any station around the room. When they solve their first problem, they need to find that answer somewhere in the classroom. They will then answer the next problem and so on. This is a great self checking activity because if they can't find their answer they know they made a mistake. Also, students should end up at the same station they started at.
Answer key is included, however, students' papers may look slightly different depending on the station they start at. Also, I included both a purple colored set and a plain white set.
