This is a two-track scavenger hunt, perfect for differentiating to your different types of learners. The first track has only one-step equations using the 4 operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). This track is for students who are just beginning to develop competence with solving equations on their own. The second track has only two-step equations, for students who are more proficient. Each track includes positive and negative integers, fractions, and decimals.
Students are assigned a number based on which track the teacher would like them to be on. The activity then takes them to different problems around the classroom on their assigned track.
With this activity, you will be able to give your struggling students practice at simpler equations and challenge your more advanced students with complex equations! All students will be engaged and make progress!!
Included in this Product:
