Print out two sets of the problems on cardstock (I got mine laminated so I could use them for multiple classes). Students were then partnered up. The first set of partners are given the same problems to solve. They need to solve the problems together and show all of their work. You will need to check all of these problems to make sure these students are masters on their problems. Once all the groups have been checked the speed dating will begin. Have one partner stay and the other partner will rotate. The new partners will switch problems to solve. Once they have solved the new problem they will switch back and correct each others work. The expert should be able to help the new partner with any mistakes. Continue to rotate until everyone has done all of the problems.
I used this activity with Juniors and Seniors in remedial math. They LOVED it!
