These printable task cards are the perfect practice for solving equations. Students can work together in groups or independently to solve each problem. The equations vary in difficulty ranging from two step equations to equations with distribution and variables on both sides. Students will have to use their knowledge of inverse operations and simplifying expressions to help solve these equations.

This task card set includes 20 questions and a printable pdf for students to show their work. The questions start with the two step equations and increase in difficulty as the problems get closer to 20. The hardest problems include distributing twice and combining like terms with variables on both sides of the equal sign. This activity needs minimal prep as you can print the task cards, cut and go! For more durable task cards you can print on cardstock or laminate so they can be reused!
