This is a set of two pages providing practice over Solving Equations using the Distributive Property
The first page is a fun coloring activity with 9 questions. The student solves the equation, finds the solution in the tessellation design and colors it. In addition to using the distributive property, the student will need to also combine like terms in order to solve the equation. The questions are scaffolded and increase in difficulty; the last 3 equations contain distributing a negative.
The second page contains 9 more equations to be solved for additional practice. The worksheet is focused on having to distribute a negative and combine like terms first. Key included.
