You can use this Partner Pizzaz PLUS
in many ways.
Here are a couple:
Option 1: Pass out worksheet’s A, B, C, and D out to students. One per student, in A - D order. Have students work individually for enough time to work through each of the problems. Then have them form groups containing one of each of A, B, C, and D. Although they have different problems, they should all have the same answers. Allow some time to discuss answers that don’t match. Next, group students by letter. A’s in one group, B’s in another, and so on. Again, give them time to check answers and discuss. Working in this manner is like doing a JigSaw in English class!
Option 2: You can copy only sheets A and B and use as a regular Partner Pizzaz. Hand out worksheets to students. Half of the class gets “A” and half gets “B.” Have them work individually for enough time to work through the problems. Then have the A’s partner up with the B’s. They should check their answers with one another. Even though their problems are different, the answers should be the same. If they come upon an answer that doesn’t match, have them look at each other’s work and discuss.
