### PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Here your students delve into the challenge of "Solving Equations with Variables on both Sides." The lesson begins with an example of how to move the variables to the left side of an equation. It then progresses to an example of moving the variables to the right side of the equations. With the lesson gradually bringing in more difficult problems, the students learn to combine like terms on the same side of the equation before moving variables either to the left or to the right. Also in the lesson, the three types of solutions are presented and explained: one solution, no solution, or Identity (an infinite number of solutions). Finally, there are word problems included in the lesson where students calculate the time it takes a cheetah to catch a gazelle depending on the speed of each and the given distance between the two. Lots of good stuff in this lesson. Please enjoy!
