Task Cards are a great way to add movement to your classroom and/or individualize learning. These task cards review solving Inequalities.
In these 18 Task Cards students practice solving inequalities including compound inequalities by combining like terms, using the distributive property, and then graphing their solution on a number line.
Full solutions and Answer Key that fits with the task card set to be stored with the rest of the cards are BOTH included as well as a cover page. Color and B/W versions included.
Suggested use of task cards: Print one set of task cards. Laminate if desired. Pair students together, then set up a rotation so that each pair knows who they will hand off their task card to. Give each pair a task card and each student should have his/her own recording sheet to show work and record their answers. Time the students (two to three minutes depending on their level) and then have them switch the card by passing it to another pair of students in the rotation.
You can also print a set per small group (of 3 or 4 students) and have them go through the task cards together. It’s completely up to you.
