This activity practices solving linear equations with the variable on both sides, including special cases. Students use the answers to the problems to help them fill in the Sudoku puzzle. When finished solving all of the problems, students must solve the rest of the Sudoku puzzle. This Sudoku puzzle is easy in difficulty.
*NOTE: For any problems that have either no solution or an infinite number of solutions, students will leave those boxes blank until the end. They will have to fill those boxes in when they're figuring out the rest of the Sudoku puzzle. Therefore, the numbers in those boxes on the Sudoku answer key will NOT match the answer to that problem.
