Use this activity to allow students to solve multi-step equations. In this activity, students work in groups or individuals to solve multi-step equations. These equations are best suited for 8th grade pre-algebra or Algebra 1 courses. Some questions include simplifying like terms, distributive property, or variables on both sides. These three activities have different sets of questions, so lots of practice for your students!
1. Q & A Match-up (match equations with solutions with answer key included)
2.Scavenger Hunt (match equations with solutions by putting cards in correct order, answer key included)
3. Task Cards (answer key included)
These cards can be printed four to a page or on a whole page to be posted around the room!
I suggest laminating them so you can use them over and over again! Or place them in a small photo album so that they can be used over and over again. These will look best in color, but will also print out in grayscale.
Thank you for your support!
