This equations coloring worksheet is a fun and different way to practice solving and simplifying linear equations. There are twenty-six problems and each problem's answer will be found under a column titled with a color. The students will need to color the picture base on the answers to each problem. Not only is this different and entertaining for the students, but it allows them to practice solving a variety of linear equations.
Page 3 has two copies of the table of answers so that you can cut this page in half and give one copy to every student.
It is very important that the students take time to check their work before they start coloring because there are extra answer options in the table so that the students must solve every problem to correctly color the picture. You may want to make a few extra copies of the picture.
