These 10 scavenger hunt cards allow students to practice multi-step equations with variables on both sides. Some of the equations include distributive property, combining like terms, and rational coefficients in order to give students a variety of problems. This activity is easy to use, and students love being able to get up and move around the classroom. Often times students are more engaged and attentive than with a worksheet.
*There are 2 versions of the scavenger hunt included: one that includes the distributive property in some equations and one that does not.
What is included?
*10 scavenger hunt cards
*Ideas for Implementation and CCSS/TEKS Alignment
*CCSS Standard 8.EE.7.B and TEKS 8.8C
