Most students struggle with solving multiple step problems. I found that if the students can break apart the problems and solve each step, they will be more successful. This is a lesson I have taught to my fourth grade students (the lesson plan is included). The lesson begins with a power point presentation then seques into guided practice. There is a link in the lesson plans that will take you to the power point. I have also included problems that can be printed on card stock or labels. Answer key is also included. If you have any problems uploading the power point, feel free to email me (firstname.lastname@example.org).
