"I used this resource as a review of one-step equations with my 7th graders. I liked having the focus of inverse operations provided as a reminder for students to use before solving the equations. "

Description

This notes page focuses on solving one-step equations using inverse operations. There is an example and practice problems for solving equations using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. A step-by-step process is provided with scaffolded practice.

I use the notes after the first learning process. When my students have struggled on a quiz I pull out these notes as a reteach and practice opportunity. I've realized that some of my students just need extended practice of a skill. This is what I designed these notes around.
