This product was made for students to practice solving one-step inequalities with integers. The worksheet includes 12 problems, some of which require the students to reverse the inequality symbol when multiplying or dividing by a negative number.
The students solve the one-step inequalities and write their answer on a tree map (provided). The tree map has 4 categories each one representing less than, less than or equal to, greater than, or greater than or equal to. The tree map has places for the answers as well as requiring the students to graph their answer, giving them practice with the graphing as well.
Each problem has a heart, moon, or star drawn in the answer space. The students are to draw the shape with their answers in the tree map. This provides the quick check as each symbol should be shown once in each category.
