This Tarsia puzzle allows students to solve polynomial equations and determine the zeros of polynomial functions by factoring. Most all factoring techniques are used, including difference of two squares, sum/difference of two cubes, and polynomials quadratic in form. Answers are real and complex. In one instance, completing the square or quadratic formula can be used to find the complex answers after factoring. Portions of the puzzle are blank, allowing students to fill in their answers after solving.
