This assessment is aligned with the Algebra I common core standards. Students must use the specified method to solve four different quadratic equations. The four methods are: factoring, square root method, completing the square and quadratic formula. When students solve using the quadratic formula, they will be asked to write their answer in exact form (simplest radical form) for one question and to round their answer for another question. Students are asked to write a possible quadratic equation given the roots and answer multiple choice questions. Lastly, students will solve two quadratic equations using the method of their choice.
