This worksheet is excellent practice for students who are learning to solve quadratic equations by factoring for the first time or who are not especially quick with mental multiplication (mental math). The first page may be enough practice for a student to become adept at solving quadratic equations. Pages 2 through 4 are available for students who need scaffolding or more help with factoring. A workspace is provided for the student to list all factors of the constant term. Another workspace is provided for the student to use the reverse box method (reverse area method), where the first and last terms of the quadratic are placed inside the box and the student can use guess and check to find which factors result in the quadratic equation given. This product was made by Susan M. Walker.
