I designed this worksheet (the seventh in a series of 10) to help fuse together the big ideas about quadratics and how they are different from other functions. This can be purchased individually or as a complete unit titled Solving Quadratics Complete Bundled Unit (at a discounted price).
Topics covered in this worksheet are: evaluating x and y values of a factored quadratic function, solving quadratics by completing the square, factoring and by using the quadratic formula, graphing quadratic functions without a calculator and identifying the line of symmetry, x and y intercepts and the vertex, and reviewing solving a system of linear equations by substitution and by elimination.
I designed this worksheet to compliment the Mathematics Vision Project Secondary Math II curriculum. It corresponds to Solving Quadratic and Other Equations 3.7
