This is a single-sided practice page with 12 questions over solving quadratics by either factoring or by taking the square root of both sides.
The types of questions are mixed together so students have to choose how to solve the equation. Once they solve each equation, they go back and label which method they used.
Factoring methods covered include factoring a difference of two squares, GCF or a trinomial where a = 1. No square rooting problems include parentheses such as (x + 4)^2 and all square roots are perfect squares. Key included.
