This placemat is intended to be used to help students solve radical equations by going step-by-step. All sorts of radical equations can be used with this placement, including square roots, cube roots, and nth roots! The placemat first has students identify the operations being done to the radical (on the outside), and then has the students tackle the operations inside of the radical after squaring/cubing/etc. by using inverse operations.
This placemat can be used in interactive notebooks, as standalone notes, and/or for small group instruction for students who need extra guidance.
