This sheet can be used as guided notes, collaborative practice, or independent practice for working with elimination problems.
The sheet is split into three sections. The first section has students make a plan for solving the problem. The second has students solve the problem, and the third has students answer some comprehension questions.
This sheet is "easy" in that the elimination problems do not require students to multiply either of the equations. The equations are set up in that the canceling can happen immediately. This is great for the beginning of your unit on eliminations, I used it on Day 1.
