Product Description

This 25- question, self-grading assignment (could also be used as a Chapter Test!) provides students with practice or assesses solving systems of linear equations & inequalities. There are 3 sections organized by the method for solving:

• Solve by Graphing
• Solve using Substitution
• Solve using Elimination
• Writing & Solving Linear Systems (Word Problems)
• Graphing Linear Inequalities
• Graphing Systems of Linear Inequalities

Most questions are "short response" that ask students to solve and type their answer as an ordered pair. I would encourage them to be very careful when typing their solution and that the best answer does not have any spaces. (I gave a few acceptable responses with spaces in different places, though) Some questions also use the "drop-down" feature when asking to determine the number of solutions (one solutions, infinitely many solutions or no solution). There are also a few multiple choice questions and "select all that apply".

I have the assignment set to give each student their grade at the end. Then, if necessary, I have them complete THIS form to make corrections and learn from their mistakes.

I have also provided a "packet" that includes all 25 questions on the Google Form so that students can solve on each problem in an organized manner. This is especially helpful for the questions that require graphing.

You will receive a link & directions to access a copy of the google form. Once copied, it is yours to edit. The entire form is editable with the exception of images I have uploaded. You are always free to delete/ add/ change anything on the form!

I have the form set to collect email addresses but if your students don't have email addresses you can easily turn that feature off and add a question asking their name.
