Use this activity to allow students to solve linear system of equations. In this activity, students work in groups or individuals to solve systems of linear equations in scavenger hunt style!
These cards can be printed four to a page or on a whole page to be posted around the room! The point of a scavenger hunt is to rearrange the cards into the correct order. This can easily be checked by comparing to answer key sequence. Each student or group can start at any place in the sequence since it makes a complete loop. This make it easy to check work quickly!
A handout for students to show their work is included.
Directions for Students: Place the cards in order!
1. Start with ANY problem, record the letter in the box, and then solve it!
2. Record your answer.
3. Look for another card with that answer. This card will be the next problem that is to be answered.
4. Before you begin the next problem, be sure to record the letter at the top of the card, this will record the ordered of the cards.
I suggest laminating them so you can use them over and over again! These will look best in color, but will also print out in grayscale.
Thank you for your support!
