This is basic practice for solving two-step equations; some negative integers are included. Students might need help with #9 since they might bring down "2x" instead of "-2x".
You could post similar problems on classroom walls then direct students, in groups of three, to go around the classroom and solve one or two problems, depending on your class size. Students in each group are then given a chance to explain how they solved their assigned problems. After that, students are to solve the problems on this worksheet for independent or paired practice. A detailed answer key is included.
