This product is used for a short review with students who just learned how to solve two-step equations. There are 16 questions that include a mixture of all types. All solutions are whole numbers so this is not an activity for upper level students. Scavenger Hunts are a great way to give your students a break from sitting in their desks all class period. Print out the SH, mix them up, and tape them around your room.
Questions are on the bottom, answers are on the top. Students pick a card to start on anywhere in the room and begin with the problem on the bottom. After solving, they look for the answer around the room on the top of another card. When they find their answer, they solve the problem underneath it. This goes on until the have solved all 16 problems. Since the answers on other cards, they have the opportunity to make sure their answers are correct. If they do not find their answer, they are wrong and need to resolve. I have done Scavenger Hunts with grades from 7th - 9th grade and all of them love these reviews. I have included a WS for student to their work on.
