Looking for a fun, self-checking activity? This is a class favorite! Students solve problems to find the missing words in a silly poem. In this activity, students solve systems of linear equations with the elimination method to fill in the missing words in the poem. The problems are at the introductory level for elimination - a variable will cancel when you add the equations together.
Includes TWO formats: one to use as an individual activity and one that can be cut up to use with small groups or at stations. This resource is also available in a digital Google Slides version.
