This freebie is just in time for Earth Day and learning about recycling!

I love reading this story during our lessons on recycling. It is the story of a little boy named Joseph. When he was a baby, his grandfather made him a beautiful blue blanket. As Joseph gets older, the blanket gets worn out and reused and recycled into many other things like a jacket, a vest, a tie, and a cloth-covered button.

The included poster can be used as part of an art display the children will create. The instructions are also included in this download.

Let their imaginations run wild while they learn what is means to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
