This activity was designed to target early grammatical structures in a fun and interactive way. Students need to determine if each statement is "fishy" or if it is a "keeper"!

This activity includes: stimulus cards for each grammatical target, sorting mats, and a reinforcement game
Each student gets their own mat
After each student takes a turn determining if the statement is “fishy” or a “keeper” he/she can pick a fish to add to their fishbowl.
For an added twist, use only the “fishy” cards and have students correct the “fishy” statement in order to earn a fish!
Colored mats- If you laminate them, adding velcro to the fish/fish bowls will add some extra fun for students!
BW mat- Have students color in the fish/fish bowl while they work and glue fish into their fishbowl.
