Lesson Title: Sometimes I Worry too Much
-Students will recognize the difference between productive and nonproductive thoughts
-Students will learn strategies for letting go worries
There are activities than can be broken down into discussion opportunities and hands-on learning.
I created this unit to use with my students who were reluctant to admit that they had worries and were focusing on the worries most of the school day. It was easier to focus on the character and practice his strategies, but this opened the door for discussion about what techniques worked for them.
