This half sheet has students listening to the song "Bailando"by Enrique Iglesias and Gente de Zona. The work sheet does not have lyrics, rather students write sentences in the present progressive from a word bank that explain what the dancers are doing in the video (official video, link provided).
After, students use the mandato 'tu' form to create dance commands that their fellow students will act out in front of class.
This is a great video, and the students really have fun making their classmates dance for them after. I previewed the commands and scaffolded the present progressive before the song to help them out.
Best used for Spanish 2,3,4, and I use it in Realidades 2 3b.
