This song (sung to the tune of "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes") is one I wrote and recorded in an attempt to help my Early Childhood Education students learn the essential content associated with the educational theory called Multiple Intelligences by Gardner. As students explore how they are smart in a wide variety of ways, the song helps them identify and focus in on very specific traits associated with each intelligence, but it can be used with just about any level! Learning specifics about how we learn is great for many different grade levels, from upper elementary school through college! It took me several semesters to scour many different sources and select key elements of each intelligence and then weave them together seamlessly into a poem/song. The interpersonal verse of the song goes like this: "Interpersonal it's what's between; you and others, sensitivity is seen. Polished social skills and humor say, you relate to others in so many ways." Click the preview to hear the recording.
