The flashcards can be used for reading practice, composition, instrument playing, transitions, and more!

Prior Knowledge: It is assumed that the students know eighth/ sixteenth/ eighth, 2 sixteenth/ 1 eighth, 1 eighth/ 2 sixteenth, half notes, sixteenth notes, eighth notes, quarter note, and quarter rest (syncopa, tika-ti, ti-tika, two, tika-tika, ti-ti, ta, and rest) prior to this unit. Files can be used regardless of rhythm syllables your students use (for example, if your students say "tim-ri" they can still use all of the files.)
