Songs at MY Speed: Slowed Down Lyrics w a Rockin' Beat 4 Kids

Product Description
"You’ve just discovered 24 tracks of children’s favorites specifically designed to give children extra time to get their words out! "SONGS AT MY SPEED" has been purposefully crafted to allow tykes the opportunity to sing along to their most desired, time-tested songs through the slowing of the lyrics but NOT the drive and movement of the rhythmic Beat.

How? The words in many songs go from 2 to 3 times slower than usually sung while the musical backgrounds are super-creative, energetic, well designed and presented in a multiplicity of musical styles and "colors."

Listeners sing along with the background voices during other songs formulated to revolve around oral-motor coordination and articulation drills made fun in the engaging musical context.

You’ll notice that there are several songs with more than one version. This is either a karaoke, fill-in or instrumental rendition intended for you to get more specific with what you wish to impart to your child or class. You can fill in a word or phrase that is more on board with what you are teaching about, or change the target words and sounds to best accomplish your aim. You can create your own personally tailored tunes!

Parents, grandparents, teachers, and therapists and children alike will find themselves singing, swaying, moving and sharing together through music and language."

5. BABY BUMBLE BEE

Beeautiful opportunity to use those bilabial oro-motor skills!
(All the B sounds.) The little bee takes the lead in the karaoke version of
the song (#21) so that you can sing your own version or use it to create
a whole new song!

I'm bringing home my baby bumble bee.
Won't my mama be proud of me.
I'm bringing home my baby bumble bee.
Ouch! It stung me! My bumbee bee.

I'm squishing up my baby bumble bee.

I BOUGHT ME A BIRD.

A pretty, folky version of this song is designed to help
create animal sounds. You can use the instrumental version

DAN DAN INVISIBLE MAN original song

Another opportunity to sing vowel sequences presented in
a most pirate-like style. You can use the low-background version (#16)
to sing targeted syllables to help foster speech sounds.

Dan, Dan invisible man. He ate his hamburgers with jam.
Yeyaah ha ha. Yeeoh ho ho! Yeyaah ha ha. Yeeoh ho ho!

He took a bath in a lake. He brushed his teeth with a rake.
Yeyaah ha ha. Yeeoh ho ho! Yeyaah ha ha. Yeeoh ho ho!

He combd his hair with a wheel. He got a head ache in his heel.
Yeyaah ha ha. Yeeoh ho ho! Yeyaah ha ha. Yeeoh ho ho!

He went to bed in a coffee can. He wached his face in a frying pa.
Yeyaah ha ha. Yeeoh ho ho! Yeyaah ha ha. Yeeoh ho ho!

He wore his socks up on his head. He washed his clothes in his bed.
Yeyaah ha ha. Yeeoh ho ho! Yeyaah ha ha. Yeeoh ho ho!

He played outside on a chair. He washed the table off with his hair.
Yeyaah ha ha. Yeeoh ho ho! Yeyaah ha ha. Yeeoh ho ho!

SHE'LL BE COMIN' 'ROUND THE MOUNTAIN

How to get all those words in 3x as slowly as usual, and still have a crankin' country train travelin' beat?? Here we go!

She'll be comin' 'round the mountain (when she comes.)
She'll be comin' 'round the mountain (when she comes.)
She'll be comin' 'round the mountain (when she comes.)
Comin' 'round the mountain (when she comes.)

12. THERE WERE 4 IN THE BED (AND THE LITTLE ONE SAID.)

Slow and pretty with time to sing.

There were 4 in the bed and the little one said "move over,
move over." So they all moved over and 1 fell out.
There were 3 in the bed and the little one said "move over,
move over." So they all moved over and 1 fell out.
There were 2in the bed and the little one said "move over,
move over." So they all moved over and 1 fell out.
There was 1 in the bed and the little one said "move over,

13. HE'S GOT THE WHOLE WORLD IN HIS HANDS.

This track offers a chance to pronounce family names using a repeated or
differing consonant and vowel. The karaoke track (24) lets you sing about your own family members or create your own words entirely.

He's got Mama in his hands. He's got mama in his hands.
He's got mama in his hands. The whole world's in his hands.

with the beloved of your choice.
