PPT in PDF format is a brief biography in Spanish for Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, famous Mexican poet. I like for students to know more about her prior to reading the poem "Hombres necios que acusáis". The PPT also have several activities for students to compare and contrast, makes connections to history, writing prompts and even an arts and craft mini project. I have taught the unit for Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz for Hispanic Heritage month as well as Women's History month.
