Sequencing numbers are an important skill that students learn in any grade! My Sort-O game will help them master this skill while having fun. This game works great as a small group, math center, or as an early finisher activity.
Personally, I remember playing and loving a similar game as a young child. My goal is to create a game that is engaging while educational and fun!

+++What is Sort-O?+++
Sort-O is an engaging card game that helps students practice the skill of sequencing.
Sort-O is played with 10 cards dealt in order to each student’s rack. The students must then receive and discard one card each turn until one student completely orders their ten cards from least to greatest and says “Sort-O”.
Cards can also be used in small groups or as a whole group introduction to decimal sequencing. In my classroom I give each table ten cards and have them work as teams to sort them from least to greatest. I have also given each student a card and had them silently order themselves as a human number line from one side of the room to the other. My students really enjoy the challenge!
