Objective: Students are give an acute angle and 2 sides. They decide how many triangles can be formed (one, two or none)
Sorting activity: 12 cards with an angle and 2 sides. (4 cards each --> can form 1 triangle, 2 triangles, and no triangles)

Interactive Bulletin Board: Place magnets on the back of the cards and place on the black board. Student can work when they get done early
Whole class activity: Give every student (or pair of students) one card. The student(s) determine how many triangles are formed and explain to the class their findings.
