Students will complete different activities in pairs or small groups to learn concepts of sound. In the first station, students will read a book chapter or article on sound (selected by the teacher) and use the chart to record new or unfamiliar vocabulary words. At the second station students will use a slinky to model sound waves. Students will explore the school to find and test locations where echos are present. These pages could be copied and pasted in a science notebook or students can copy the information from the document directly into their notebook to record.
