Teacher, and/or students, say the word out loud. Students write the word sound by sound, then they write (and blend) the sounds into a whole word. If the student makes an error in the sound boxes, instead of erasing, s/he can revise it using a color pencil, then write it on the line below. Great for assessment, as well as self-assessment!
