Product Description
My kindergarten children love this! I made 6 copies of each chart and laminated them. The kids use Expo markers to write their words. I use the different boxes during our Literacy 1st small reading groups. I added several different color coded charts with dots under the boxes where the students place counters, cubes, or bears. I personally choose green, yellow, and red markers for each child. I explain to them that the colors are like a stop light. I place them green, yellow, and red on the dots. and remind them to always start reading on green and end on the red. It doesn’t have to be done that way but it does help the kids to understand the text direction.

Includes Sound Boxes For: Ending Sound, Beginning Sound, Medial Sound, CVC, Beginning Digraph, Ending Digraph, and CVCe

I edited the digraph and cvce pages to a better format and added the arrow for the silent e.
