It is community helper week in speech and language therapy and this is an easy activity to target articulation and phonology with your groups. It is a low prep activity and includes homework pages for every sound.
To Play: Print a copy of the “jail” on cardstock. Cut around the six jail cells so that they become a lift-the-flap. Leave the target sound pages whole. Pick the targeted speech sound and place it below the jail sheet. Lift the flap to see who is in jail. Use carrier phrases based on the needs of each student. Pair the activity with small police cars for even more fun!
