This packet is intended for teachers and parents who are looking for ways to reinforce correct speech production in the classroom/home and learn more about sound production in general.
On each page I give a brief explanation as to how we produce each phoneme. Phonemes are in developmental order (i.e., sounds that should be mastered earliest to latest). I have included some of the phoneme-specific cues I give to the students so parents/teachers can reinforce correct productions. The last page includes helpful hints for parents/teachers to promote correct speech production.
I give this packet to all of my teachers and reading specialists at the beginning of the school year. I also give this packet to all of my articulation students at the beginning of the school year.
This is a great way to have parents/teachers involved in the generalization of articulation skills.
I hope you find this packet helpful!
