This is a book that gives students practice segmenting their sounds and writing letters. Each letter has 5 pictures that begin with that letter. Most of the words are CVC words, but there are some that are more challenging. The book also gives students practice at counting syllables. This is a great resource for word work centers or even small group time. This book is also a great tool for Common Core Standards!
