This is a rubric for a student learning project on the topics of sound and light. It is general in its requirements but allows for assigning 10 groups half light and half sound. Each group would have one of the five concepts to explore which include amplitude, energy interactions, frequency, speed, and wave type. I use three main guiding questions for discovery. How does the energy move? Why is that important? and One way to recall the information? Finally I also include one other important piece of information the students discovered to included so they can demonstrate what they found most amazing.
