Light and Sound
The following unit was designed out of a need (for me) to understand, learn and bring to my first grade classroom the Next Generation Science Standards for light and sound.
Included in this Unit:
A Table of Contents including hyperlinks to the locations as well as several hyperlinks for ease of use
A printable black and white, interactive student notebook with investigations, experiments, planning areas, response areas, etc.
An optional color cover page
The standards are clearly marked and explained
Vocabulary and “I learned…” posters
A bulletin board option
Teacher guides for each investigation and experiment
Helpful web links
Final project with supporting poster (color option) and rubric for assessment
Materials for Investigations and Experiments BUT, they are listed and easy to obtain.
