PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a 3 page document. The first page has a passage to read and then instructs the children to do a quick activity. Then they continue to read to learn and do another hands-on experiment. There is a page with pictures to show where the vocal cords are located and what vocal cords look like when they are open and closed. Also, there is a page of questions that require the students to make connections between what they have read and the outcomes of their experiments. I used this with my third grade class, but could be used for grades 3-5.
