While meeting with small groups it became very obvious that some of my kiddos some extra help with words that ended in -ed. I have put together a pack filled with activities to help my students learn that -ed can make three different sounds (t, d, id).
Note: Some teachers still prefer to teach the sound as /ed/ instead of /id/. If you would prefer to represent that pronunciation - no problem because I have duplicated certain pages to reflect that option.
I have included:
*60 word cards with picture support (20 per sound) and a sentence to use the word in context.
*40 Write and Wipe Cards
*30 game cards to play "I Have... Who Has....?
*3 Word Sort Pages
*Colour/Color the Words Page
*Interactive Emergent Reader
Please have a look at the preview so that you can see everything that is included.
I know that most of this unit needs to be printed and laminated, however, it was made this way to eliminate the amount of photocopying that has to be done. This is a resource that you only have to prep once and then you can use it for years.
