This activity is meant to be a research-based activity on the country of South Africa. You can have students using iPads, computers, or if you don’t have these tools available, this can be done together as a class while you research. The students tend to like these, as they only need to research three pieces of information per topic, which is doable in their eyes. :)
You can also purchase the South Africa Mini Bundle which includes 2 resources for your students!
I use these pages as Interactive Notebook pages, and print one page at a time for students to complete. I have students glue the top of the page into their notebooks, and then they write their answers under the flap. Of course, you could also have students complete this as a flip book….all you need to do is print and staple at the top.
The topics students will research are:
*South African government
*South African animals
*South African geography
*South African cities
*South African culture
*South African Food
*South African Fun Facts
There is no answer key, as the questions are generally open-ended and intended for students to find their own answers and then to share back with the rest of the class.
Thanks for stopping by.
