This Animal Report is designed especially for the animals of South America. Students will identify the animals: name, diet, predators, habitat, camouflage, fun fact, class, range, and if it lives in the jungle which layer it abides in. They will then draw the animal with arrows pointing to key features and find a picture of the animal to share with their oral presentation. A variation on this is to have them carve their animal out of clay/paint it then tell its key features in their presentation. This set also includes a sign up sheet for different animals they could choose.

The South American Plant and Animal cards are a great compliment to this set as a jumping off point. You can even have them draw the cards instead of doing a sign up sheet or use them for sorting by biome or making food chains. https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/South-America-Plant-and-Animal-Cards-4845457
