These two reading activities are designed to be used with a unit on time and/or school schedules and verbs/activities. The language is built around typical Spanish I vocabulary so that students can use context clues and cognates to figure out words they don’t know. One schedule is for a child who lives in the city while the other is for a child who lives in the country. This allows for comparison/contrast in class discussion.
You can use this as an enrichment or challenge activity to differentiate for more advanced students, or you can use it as a whole-class exercise with questions and answers as you work through it together. It can also be used as homework or an assessment; you have the freedom to make your own questions about it to support the work you’re doing in your class currently.
